Little DJ milestone

This week I did my 20th live set on Kick106 (www.kick106.co.uk), the internet radio station which I started DJing on earlier this year.
For me a time to look back at things. Think back at when it all started, think about the progress I made, the people I’ve met, the new skills I developed along the road,…

And I am very happy about the progress I made!
Preparing a set today takes a lot less time then in the beginning.
I am more confident in my mixing.
Played around with some of the exotic options of my equipment which I can now use at will to put more variation into my mixing.
I am guest DJ on another internet radio station as well (www.waxdigitalradio.com).
So it’s going very well!

Playing as an amateur amongst some great professional artists is not easy. They all mix virtually flawless! It’s amazing really.
I still have a long way to go before I get there.
But it’s a very supportive bunch. And they must like my style cause I haven’t been kicked out yet lol. Overall my stuff is not bad at all! Apart from 2 or 3 sets  (out of 20) that went horribly wrong at some point, I feel that I did good quality mixing.
